How to deal with spindown failure?

The reference adjustment time for successful spindown is 40-60s (not absolutely).

Time ≥60s means the belt is too loose. Please power off the trainer to cool down, then power on the trainer and ride it for 10 minutes. Then perform the spindown by clockwise rotate the 3mm screw half round to tighten.

Time ≤40s means the belt is too tight. Please power off the trainer to cool down, then power on the trainer and ride it for 10 minutes. Then perform the spindown by anticlockwise rotate the 3mm screw half round to loose.

How to deal with the situation of zero power when the computer is connected to the trainer?

The optimal transmission distance between the trainer and ANT+ receiver is within 50cm, please ensure there is no high-power wireless router equipment, objects or human beings around that may cause signal barrier.

Why spindown is necessary for a trainer?

Spindown helps to calculate the natural mechanical resistance of the trainer, which is used to ensure the accuracy of the reported power data by removing the influence of mechanical loss through algorithm.

How to deal with the situation that the indicator light of the trainer is not on?

  • Check whether the working indicator light of the power adapter is always on;
  • Check whether the output voltage of the adapter is normal with the multimeter;
  • Check whether the plugs of the main board and the power board have fallen off.

How to deal with the failure of connecting the software to the trainer via Bluetooth?

  • Power off and restart the trainer, then try to search for the trainer again;
  • Check whether the Bluetooth indicator light of the trainer is always on. If so, it means there is other mobile device connecting to the trainer via Bluetooth;
  • Check whether the training software is compatible with the trainer.

How to deal with the failure of connecting the software to the trainer via ANT+?

  • Check whether the ANT+ is on;
  • Please ensurethe distance between the trainer and ANT+ receiver is within 50cm;
  • Check whether the ANT+ USB connection is normal; check whether the computer shows "abnormal device";
  • Check whether the ANT+USB driver isalready installed in your computer, or try to re-install it;
  • Please ensurethere is other ridding software occupying the ANT+ driver;
  • Check whether the ANT+ display device shows trainer connection option.
